I switched to wordpress a few months ago and absolutely love it. I went from blogger to wordpress to typepad and then back to wordpress. You won't regret making the change!!
I didn't know you're planning to defect from Blogger, too! I'm planning to go to Wrodpress after the new year as well...but I haven't even begen the process. So it may be a while!

The BA used to love getting 'into' things as well. Boxes, washing baskets, you name it!!
I left blogger ages ago and it was hard worl learning how to use another provider but great now!
